In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Small Maquette of Girl with a Dolphin by David Wynne. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 50,250.00 (€ 58,998.23), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Wynne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boy with a Dolphin in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 353,000.00 (€ 413,681.16).

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small Maquette of Girl with a Dolphin von David Wynne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 58.998,23) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Wynne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boy with a Dolphin im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 353.000,00 (€ 413.681,16).
