Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Maggie Reclining 33cm (13in) long by David Wynne was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,979.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Wynne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boy with a Dolphin in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 353,000.00 (€ 413,681.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Maggie Reclining 33cm (13in) long von David Wynne wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.979,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Wynne erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boy with a Dolphin im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 353.000,00 (€ 413.681,16).
