Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by David Reed achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2019. In the First Open | Online auction, the work (#384) #2 sold for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,123.63) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Reed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work #439 in March this year with an auction result of GBP 67,310.00 (€ 76,578.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Reed erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open | Online wurde die Arbeit (#384) #2 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.123,63) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Reed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit #439 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.310,00 (€ 76.578,13).
