Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Studio Study #46, 2011 by David Reed was worth EUR 16,250.00 to a buyer in June 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Post War & Contemporary Art at Christies and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by David Reed have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work #439 in March this year with an auction result of GBP 67,310.00 (€ 76,578.13).
Kunstwerk zum Dreifachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Studio Study #46, 2011 von David Reed war einem Käufer im Juni 2021 EUR 16.250,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Reed auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit #439 im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 67.310,00 (€ 76.578,13).
