Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work #300 by David Reed. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 54,093.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by David Reed have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March this year the work #439 was auctioned for GBP 67,310.00 (€ 76,578.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit #300 von David Reed zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 54.093,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von David Reed konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März diesen Jahres die Arbeit #439 für GBP 67.310,00 (€ 76.578,13) versteigert.
