Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work F (Musik Ist Scheisse) by David Ostrowski. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,094.30), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Ostrowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work F (Gee Vaucher) in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 215,054.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit F (Musik Ist Scheisse) von David Ostrowski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.094,30) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Ostrowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit F (Gee Vaucher) im Juli 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 215.054,11).
