Upper estimate price exceeded by 33 %.
The work Jaguar by David Mach was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in September 2012. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,019.29), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jaguar von David Mach wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.019,29) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
