The work Union Jack Flag with Wills and Harry by David Mach was sold in the Modern | British Art auction at Christies in London in November 2019. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,806.83), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Union Jack Flag with Wills and Harry von David Mach wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern | British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.806,83) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
