Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Matchead by David Mach was auctioned at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,280.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Matchead von David Mach kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.280,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
