Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Shifting Sands by David Mach was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2018. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,639.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Shifting Sands von David Mach kam im November 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.639,85) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
