This price was achieved in the auction Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer at Bonhams and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Johnson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View From New Windsor, Hudson River in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 722,500.00 (€ 584,357.81).
