The price achieved of USD 125,000.00 (€ 112,117.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Johnson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View From New Windsor, Hudson River in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 722,500.00 (€ 584,357.81).
