This artwork by David Hare achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2010. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,976.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by David Hare; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Picasso's meninas. 1973. sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of CHF 25,920.00 (€ 23,856.00).

Dieses Kunstwerk von David Hare erzielte im September 2010 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.976,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von David Hare; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Picasso's meninas. 1973. im Dezember 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von CHF 25.920,00 (€ 23.856,00).
