This work without title by David Hare was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in October 2010. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,598.68) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Hare have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Picasso's meninas. 1973. in December 2019 with an auction result of CHF 25,920.00 (€ 23,856.00).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von David Hare wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.598,68) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Hare auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Picasso's meninas. 1973. im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 25.920,00 (€ 23.856,00).
