In November 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Nude by David Bromley. The price achieved of AUD 10,755.00 (€ 6,744.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 9,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by David Bromley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Afternoon Tea Boy was auctioned for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).
