Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Holiday Story by David Bromley was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. The price achieved of AUD 8,160.00 (€ 4,879.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Bromley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon Tea Boy, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).
