Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rebecca by David Bromley was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in November 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,308.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by David Bromley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Tea Boy in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rebecca von David Bromley wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.308,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Bromley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Tea Boy im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.250,00 (€ 12.093,99).
