It achieved a price of AUD 8,365.00 (€ 5,031.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Bromley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon Tea Boy, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 8.365,00 (€ 5.031,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Für andere Arbeiten von David Bromley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Afternoon Tea Boy beobachtet, die im November 2016 für GBP 10.250,00 (€ 12.093,99) versteigert wurde.
