Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Butterfly Boy (Yellow) by David Bromley was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. The price achieved of AUD 7,800.00 (€ 4,664.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Bromley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Afternoon Tea Boy, which sold at auction in November 2016 for GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 7.800,00 (€ 4.664,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden.
