Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fear of Flying by David Bromley was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in April 2006. The price achieved of AUD 3,585.00 (€ 2,156.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Bromley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Tea Boy in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 10,250.00 (€ 12,093.99).

Die Arbeit Fear of Flying von David Bromley kam im April 2006 bei Christies in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 3.585,00 (€ 2.156,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Bromley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Tea Boy im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.250,00 (€ 12.093,99).
