This artwork by David Adolph Constant Artz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work The harvest - a study sold for NLG 3,744.64 (€ 1,646.01) - well above the upper estimate of NLG 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Adolph Constant Artz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First love in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Adolph Constant Artz erzielte im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings wurde die Arbeit The harvest - a study für NLG 3.744,64 (€ 1.646,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von NLG 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit First love im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30).
