In the 19th CenturyEuropean Art auction, the work My best friends sold for EUR 14,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Adolph Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First love, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
