This artwork by David Adolph Constant Artz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2007. In the 19th CenturyEuropean Art auction, the work My best friends sold for EUR 14,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Adolph Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First love, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Adolph Constant Artz erzielte im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art wurde die Arbeit My best friends für EUR 14.650,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First love beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30) versteigert wurde.
