Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work A Joyful Ride by David Adolph Constant Artz. The price achieved of EUR 13,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Adolph Constant Artz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First love, which sold at auction in October 2000 for NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Joyful Ride von David Adolph Constant Artz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit First love beobachtet, die im Oktober 2000 für NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30) versteigert wurde.
