Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dozing off in the dunes by David Adolph Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,625.00. Admittedly, works by David Adolph Constant Artz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work First love in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dozing off in the dunes von David Adolph Constant Artz kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit First love im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30).
