Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A walk in the dunes by David Adolph Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2006. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Adolph Constant Artz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First love in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).

Die Arbeit A walk in the dunes von David Adolph Constant Artz kam im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Adolph Constant Artz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit First love im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 87.765,00 (€ 42.124,30).
