Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Before Supper by David Adolph Constant Artz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2004. The price achieved of EUR 4,182.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Adolph Constant Artz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work First love in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 87,765.00 (€ 42,124.30).
