Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Danny Lane achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2017. In the Made in Britain auction, the work 'Palm' Light sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,265.67) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Danny Lane - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Bone' Dining Table, which sold at auction in March 2019 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,979.60).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Danny Lane erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit 'Palm' Light für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.265,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Danny Lane mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Bone' Dining Table beobachtet, die im März 2019 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.979,60) versteigert wurde.
