Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Paire d'appliques Prism, 2002 by Danny Lane for EUR 1,260.00. This price was achieved in the auction NOW! at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Danny Lane have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Bone' Dining Table in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,979.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paire d'appliques Prism, 2002 von Danny Lane für EUR 1.260,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion NOW! bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Danny Lane auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Bone' Dining Table im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.979,60).
