Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sand Dunes By The Sea by Daniel Sherrin was sold in the British and Continental Pictures and Prints auction at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 700.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Sherrin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Wooded Landscape with a Lake in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,359.78).
