Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work A fruitful harvest by Daniel Sherrin. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 712.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Sherrin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Wooded Landscape with a Lake in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,359.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental and Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A fruitful harvest von Daniel Sherrin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 480,00 (€ 712,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Sherrin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape with a Lake im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.359,78).
