Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work “In the heart of Surrey” by Daniel Sherrin for DKK 4,800.00 (€ 643.78). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Sherrin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Wooded Landscape with a Lake in April 2005 with an auction result of USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,359.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “In the heart of Surrey” von Daniel Sherrin für DKK 4.800,00 (€ 643,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Sherrin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape with a Lake im April 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.359,78).
