In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work Flowers in a glass vase with a red admiral butterfly by Daniel Seghers. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 503,250.00 (€ 552,535.04), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Daniel Seghers have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 587,250.00 (€ 694,060.77) in December 2019 for the work Roses, tulips, irises and other flowers in a glass vase with a cabbage white butterfly.

Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers in a glass vase with a red admiral butterfly von Daniel Seghers zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 503.250,00 (€ 552.535,04) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Daniel Seghers haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 587.250,00 (€ 694.060,77) im Dezember 2019 für die Arbeit Roses, tulips, irises and other flowers in a glass vase with a cabbage white butterfly beobachtet.
