The result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,908.29) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Seghers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roses, tulips, irises and other flowers in a glass vase with a cabbage white butterfly in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 587,250.00 (€ 694,060.77).
