Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Gardner could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in January 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Master Drawings auction, the work Portrait Of Thomas Theophilus Cock (1754-1811) changed hands for USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,851.55) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00.
