It achieved a price of GBP 133,875.00 (€ 152,975.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Gardner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Mary Whitbread, Later Lady Grey (1770-1858), which sold at auction in July 2015 for GBP 233,000.00 (€ 330,315.74).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 133.875,00 (€ 152.975,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%.
