Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Verdugo Canyon by Dana Bartlett was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. The price achieved of USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,166.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dana Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By the Sea in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 77,675.00 (€ 78,809.86).

Die Arbeit Verdugo Canyon von Dana Bartlett kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.166,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dana Bartlett erzielen.
