Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Path through Autumn hills by Dana Bartlett was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 3,953.66) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dana Bartlett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work By the Sea in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 77,675.00 (€ 78,809.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Path through Autumn hills von Dana Bartlett kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.462,50 (€ 3.953,66) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dana Bartlett erzielen.
