It achieved a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,258.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Admittedly, works by Damrong Wong-Uparaj have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Traditional Houses on Stilts, 1962 in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 875,625.00 (€ 99,353.96).

Die Arbeit Construction Series von Damrong Wong-Uparaj kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.258,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 70%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Damrong Wong-Uparaj auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Traditional Houses on Stilts, 1962 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.625,00 (€ 99.353,96).
