Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Being There by Damian Loeb was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2014. The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 73,313.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Damian Loeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vertigo, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 182,500.00 (€ 147,605.95).

Die Arbeit Being There von Damian Loeb kam im Mai 2014 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.000,00 (€ 73.313,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Damian Loeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vertigo beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 182.500,00 (€ 147.605,95) versteigert wurde.
