Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Elizabeth Violet Blackadder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October last year. In the Scottish Art auction, the work Beach at Treboul sold for GBP 2,167.50 (€ 2,525.11) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Violet Blackadder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cats And Orchids in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elizabeth Violet Blackadder erzielte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Scottish Art wurde die Arbeit Beach at Treboul für GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.525,11) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Violet Blackadder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cats And Orchids im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 46.411,86).
