Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Farm, Garve by Elizabeth Violet Blackadder was sold in the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction at Bonhams in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,280.00 (€ 1,280.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Violet Blackadder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cats And Orchids in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 46,411.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Farm, Garve von Elizabeth Violet Blackadder wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.280,00 (€ 1.280,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Violet Blackadder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cats And Orchids im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 46.411,86).
