Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2017 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work (I) Diana, Laren (Ii) Gele Reflectie (Yellow Reflection) by Daan van Golden. The result of EUR 5,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daan van Golden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 266,500.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Dezember 2017 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit (I) Diana, Laren (Ii) Gele Reflectie (Yellow Reflection) von Daan van Golden zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 5.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.500,00.
