The work The Infant Christ In Glory With Saints Dominic And Nicholas by Corrado Giaquinto was sold in the Old Master and British Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in October 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,088.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Corrado Giaquinto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maria Immaculata mit dem Propheten Elias. in March 2008 with an auction result of CHF 408,000.00 (€ 260,185.51).
