Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2009 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch A Harbour Scene by Cornelis Vreedenburgh. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,250.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Vreedenburgh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 99,875.00 (€ 48,004.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2009 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings and Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch A Harbour Scene von Cornelis Vreedenburgh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59).
