The work Set Design For Prince Igor, The Market-Place Of Poutivle by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in June 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71). Admittedly, works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Set Design For Prince Igor, The Market-Place Of Poutivle von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.048,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
