In March 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art, which included the work Late Afternoon Glow by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,802.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).

Im März 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Including Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Late Afternoon Glow von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.802,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
