Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 638.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Constantin Macris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage, 1958 von Constantin Macris kam im Oktober 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Macris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
