Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of EUR 350.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 383.00. Admittedly, works by Constantin Macris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 3,444.00.

Die Arbeit Composition Grise, 1959 von Constantin Macris kam im Oktober 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 350,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 383,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Constantin Macris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.444,00.
