However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constantin Macris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 3,444.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.223,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 75 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Constantin Macris mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 3.444,00 versteigert wurde.
