This artwork by Constantin Macris achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2011. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition Blanche, Circa 1959 sold for EUR 861.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Constantin Macris - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 3,444.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Constantin Macris erzielte im März 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composition Blanche, Circa 1959 für EUR 861,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Constantin Macris mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Planches Sur Les Dunes Le Matin, 1958 beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 3.444,00 versteigert wurde.
